Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address students on AMU Centenary Year Celebrations
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address Centenary celebrations of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) through video conferencing as the chief guest.
He will be joined by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank.
AMU Vice Chancellor Tariq Mansoor said the AMU community is thankful to PM Modi for accepting the invitation to participate in the celebrations marking 100 years of the university.
The AMU administration has made special preparations. Modi will become the second Prime Minister to attend the AMU ceremony after the then PM Jawaharlal Nehru. Police administration is also alert about peacekeeping.
PM Modi will also issue a postage stamp on the occasion. Recently the Prime minister also addressed the centenary celebrations of Lucknow University.
