Actor Asif Basra found dead in Dharamshala ; Celebrities and Fans pours condolences

Indian Actor Asif Basra who has starred on  Jab We Met, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and Kai Po Che and was also recently seen in the web series 'Paatal Lok' was found dead hanging in a private complex in Dharamshala.  He was 53 years old.

Asif had a property on lease for the past five and six years in McLeodganj, Dharamshala, and he used to visit the place regularly.

“He hanged himself around 12-12.30 today. We are still investigating the matter. We have sent the body for post-mortem. as for now it looks like a case of suicide," Kangra Senior Superintendent of Police Vimukt Ranjan told reporters.

The reason of the suicide by the actor is still being investigated. The news of the tragic death of the actor, comes just months after Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his home in Mumbai on June 14 has made the industry shocked. 

A lot of celebrities and people on the internet started pouring condolences on Twitter.
